Another month with our littlest love

Our sweet Oliver is 4 months!

On one hand it seems unreal that it has been 4 months already but on another it seems like he's been here all along.

He has changed so much over the months and is getting so big!

He laughs now.... usually only for me... and always gets the giggles when I take his shirt off, and is ticklish around his neck.

He hates to sleep... he fights it to the bitter end, of course he never wins, but has fought it up to 2hrs before. (that was a VERY long 2hrs full of screaming lol) He has however gotten much better about riding in the car. =)

He is very impatient when he's hungry.

His favorite place is with mommy or in his jumperoo... He goes crazy in there and sometimes will only jump on one leg and its hilarious to watch and when he's not in the jumperoo he wants to be held up so he can jump on your legs. He's our little jumping bean.

He's always kicking and can roll from his belly to his back and can scoot forward when on his belly a pretty good distance. He's a strong kid... much like his big brother was at this age.

His hands are always in his mouth.

He gives the sweetest open mouth kisses in town <3

He spits all the time and, well, he produces a lot of slobber so it goes pretty far.
He was sitting on daddy's lap at lunch one day and started spitting and it went all in daddy's food lol

He's such a little ball of joy and such a blessing to our family.
We love you so much monkey!

Conversations with my 3yr old

I've been trying to remember to jot down the funny, sweet, innocent things my amazing 3yr old says to us... Here are a few

Wesley can't leave me alone for 2 seconds and often follows me into the bathroom. Well one morning I got out of the shower and as soon as Wes heard the water turn off and curtain open he came running in! I told him to get out and let me dry off and to change the subject he started asking me questions lol

Wesley-  "Mommy, do you have a butt?"
Me- "Yes"
"Does mawmaw?"
"Yes"
"Does ariel?"
"Yep"
"Does daddy and baby Oliber?"
"Of course they do"
"And do me and daddy and baby Oliber have pee pees?"
"Yep"
"But not girls?"
"No Wesley now go play and let me dry off!"

lol. Boys.

On Father's Day we bought Wes a Toy Story tent for his bed (which he has demolished) and while him and Daddy were in there putting it together this is what I hear in the other room...

Wesley- "You're doing a great job!! Give me a high five!"

He's so encouraging. haha

7-1-10
"Mommy I know you love me even when I get in trouble."

7-2-10
I put tattoos on him and told he was looking bad to the bone and his reply was
"No mommy I'm good to the bone"
bahahahahahah

7-3-10
Wes and I went outside to see the fireworks some people were shooting off and there was a HUGE star in the sky so I told Wes to make a wish...

"Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight; I wish to Love mommy, daddy and baby Oliber"

It was the most innocent wish I'd ever heard
&
I'm pretty sure his wish has already come true <3

7-5-10
Oliver was sitting on my lap and Wes was on the couch leaning over watching me as I was editing Wesley's 4th of July pictures and I said,

"What a handsome boy I have"

Wes said "and what a handsome boy you have in your lap"
:)

7-7-10
Me and Wes were "fighting" over Oliver and I said
"No you can't have him he's MINE!"

Wes- "NO! He came out of your belly and he was mine!"

ahahahah
He tells me that all the time now! Apparently I just have the babies he then they become his... When he is going to start changing diapers and waking up with Oliver is what I'd like to know! hahahah

7-8-10
We attempted the quiet game with Wes... He seriously couldn't even last a full minute. Charlie who was super tired was laying in bed "playing the quiet game by himself" and Wes kept trying and trying and trying to talk to him and he would not talk back and Wes was SO upset and said
"WHY IS DADDY DOING THIS TO ME??!?!"
lol Charlie told him he was "trying to beat his own record" at the quiet game haha.

I'm going to just keep updating this as he comes up with crazy stuff as I've been doing.
O the things a 3yr old will say.
