I heart faces-Chalk Photo Challenge

I'm pretty excited for this week's challenge at I heart Faces... It's a Chalk Photo Contest! I happened to do a picture for my youngest son's 3month pictures and Love how it came out. The husband is quite artistic and did his name.

You can click the image to enlarge it :)

I fully intend on doing big brother's name as well and plan on hanging them in their play room. I'd love to do more fun stuff with chalk as well :)

YAY!!

HAPPY 1/2 BIRTHDAY Oliver!

I think this every month but, has it really been 1/2 a year?! Jeesh!

He's changed so much in the last month and has been doing and experiencing all kinds of new stuff!

He's sitting up.

He started saying "dada" right after turning 5months which Charlie was quite excited about.

He loves to babble and blow bubbles.

He loves people.
Just like his brother.
Even more so he loves people's faces and loves to rub them.
(We have super friendly people loving babies.)

He has been getting along with sleep much better and now shares a room with his big brother which both seem to really enjoy, especially Wes.

(aaannddd I'm happy to say the monthly Christmas tree is back and serving as a beautiful night light)

It's been cooling down here, FINALLY, so we've been able to get out more which has been nice & Oliver has gotten to experience a couple of firsts.

1st time on the swings.

1st handful of sand! haha
It's bound to happen living where we live <3

He loves to fake cough and fuss for attention.
He loves attention.

He barrel rolls all across the floor to wherever he wants to go.
It's hilarious when he gets stuck rolling from his back to his front. He looks like a turtle on its back.

I think his favorite time of day is in the morning when he gets his Oatmeal with bananas. He loves it.
This morning he decided I was just not going fast enough for him and grabbed the spoon from the bowl and started feeding himself lol. He didn't do 1/2 bad either. :)
Doesn't he just look 6 months in this pic :(

He's so much fun and just has the most amazing, contagious smile.

I love being his mom every day
I love waking up to him rubbing my face when he's woken up just a little too early.
I just love him. Through all the fussiness (the fussiness is getting better) and all the puke
all.over.me.
(The amazingness of that perfect smile outweighs all the grossness in this picture lol)

He is no where near as easy as his brother, but he's o so worth it.

Now on to even more exciting stuff like his 1st try at baby food!
Which he tried today and LOVED.
Mmmm mixed veges

The bumbo makes for a great high chair since I tried putting him in his high chair and he's too little lol.

I'm so excited for the next month to see all the new things he starts to do
:)

I love you everyday monkey!

All that I'm after...

... is a life full of laughter.

"A day without laughter is a day wasted."
                                                                          -Charlie Chaplin

I live a life I love

My life can be summed up into just 1 word
Blessed.
Truly truly blessed.

1st with a husband who is so so very supportive. Supportive of any and every thing I do whether it's school, photography, my crazy amounts of craft projects, having more children, & being a SAHM. He supports me every day in every way, even when he probably shouldn't.

He loves me.
Hard.
Completely.
Selflessly.
With all he has.

We have been through SO much in our 6+ years together. Things that could have easily broken us, but it hasn't. Nothing ever will.

We're in this for life.
2nd with my absolutely amazing and perfect in every way 1st born child.
Oliver has a lot of live up to.
He's so sweet.
Such a lover.
The kissing bandit!
My lovey dovey puddin pop.

And last but not least with our little baby.
Mr. Oliver who is so full of spunk and personality.
Who is going to get into SO much trouble but his sweet smile will get him out of all of it.

There is NOTHING I love more then my little family of 4.

I am so truly truly blessed to have my 3 guys.
I couldn't feel more lucky.

Wesley's Imaginary Friend

Wes made his entry into boyhood today and 'found' himself an imaginary friend.

We aren't quite sure what 'he' looks like, as Wes apparently doesn't quite know.
And apparently his name is Jaguar Baby-Head
But I'm sure that will change tomorrow.

What we are certain is that he is Wesley's friend.

We first learned of "Jaguar" when Wes just randomly came up to everyone in the living and announced that his "friend" was "Right over there!"

Then he came in my room where mom and I were playing with Oliver and told us that his friend was in the corner because he took Wes' lunchable out of the "fridgerator" and was in Big trouble!

We kept asking Wes all about him. Like what he looks like and his name and at first he didn't know and just saying "he doesn't have a name he's just my friend". But then he decided his name was Jaguar Baby-Head. So silly.

So mom & I told him he needed to introduce him to all of us so he would know our names:
Wes: "Hey! Friend! Her name is Maw Maw!
And his name is Baby Oliver!
And... this old lady's name is.... MOMMY!"

Oh.Em.Gee!! OLD LADY!!

He called me an OLD LADY!

It's pretty hilarious, I must say.
Charlie will get a HUGE kick out of it I'm sure.

Wonder what tomorrow's adventures will be with Wes' new friend.
